This whole house renovation started out as a small two-bedroom redecoration project for the family’s adult daughter, trapped in Bedford NY during the early months of Covid. We hit it off so well and the home had such beautiful bones and provenance, that the project just kept growing! More than 18 months later, we had redecorated or renovated every room in the whole house, including a gut kitchen remodel!

We worked hand in hand with this highly creative family to retain the colonial feel of the antique home, highlight the myriad vintage furnishings and décor, while updating and refreshing the furniture with repairs, restaining and reupholstery where needed. Though this project is completed, we continue to work on this beloved home to add architecturally appropriate new construction windows, repaint the clapboard siding and repoint the fireplace and masonry-out structures.
