In keeping with our professional commitment to discourage “throw away culture” and encourage less waste, we provide a myriad of guidance and affordable, high-quality services to renew and reinvent your older wood, metal, and upholstered furniture. We assist with evaluating your furniture quality and rehabilitation feasibility.

Most furniture can be improved, repaired, and rehabilitated with cleaning, conditioning, minor repairs, and re-gluing or replacing hardware. For heirloom or treasured pieces, we can arrange for professional refinishing, custom painting, powder coating, and fabric replacement or renewal.

Wood refinishing, restaining, carpentry to repair or replace tabletops, legs, etc. and decorative or re-painting, repair and powder coating are professional services, prices per item, provided either in our studio or by out trusted subcontractors.

Nothing is quite like the amazing transformation of a drab, damaged or neglected fabric piece into a beautiful, custom heirloom.

Our master upholsterer gives furniture including dining chairs, sides chairs, ottomans, loveseats, sofas, and sectionals new life and years of extended usefulness.

The process involves stripping off the existing upholstery, creating a pattern, making any needed repairs to the infrastructure, such as re-tie spring coils, tighten or replace supportive strapping, glue, or peg loose parts, replacing degraded foam, or enhancing cushioning with additional foam or Dacron, before sewing and then stapling the new fabric “skin” back onto the piece.

An alternative to upholstery, our master upholsterer also creates custom slip covers. Slipcovers can completely change the look, style, and usefulness of a piece of furniture, cover and preserve original or delicate upholstery or provide family-friendly or seasonal design options for your existing pieces. We have designed and fashioned all types of slipcovers from elegant and tailored, to soft, casual, and practical, to fanciful, one-of-a-kind creations.

Increasingly, our clients are rejecting readymade, big-box throw pillows, drapes, shades and soft home goods because of limited size and fabric availability, inferior quality or conversely, the high expense for simple, plain options.

Our in-house seamstress is a consummate fabric artist who will design the ideal products to enhance your home. She creates and installs perfectly fitted, elegant, custom cushions, pillows, bedding, drapes, valances, cornices, Roman, and roller shades in any style and size.

Our window treatment and home good products are precisely measured, painstakingly tailored, machine sewn, and hand-finished, then professionally installed, to ensure your complete satisfaction!
