About Denise Gianna

Denise is a natural born creative with a keen eye and ability to discern her client’s needs and wants. She has degrees in Studio Art, Psychology, and a master’s degree in Organizational Business Administration.

After a long career in health and human services, culminating as Director of Quality Assurance and Corporate Compliance, Denise retired from the grind in 2010 to pursue her side gigs in painting and jewelry design, full time, while attending the SUNY Purchase Interior Design Program. After graduating in 2013, Denise was honored to join the Purchase College Interior Design Program as an instructor and course creator and opened her own design practice in Beacon NY.

In addition to interior design, Denise designs custom jewelry, furniture, and artwork for her clients by commission and enjoys sculpture, drawing, and painting. Denise and her family, husband David, children Anthony and AvaMaria have lived in Beacon since 1999. Along with their doggies Mr. Bean, Miss Daisy, and Miss Lucy, and kitties Kallista and Bumpkin, they reside in the first house Denise ever designed and decorated, which they built on Mt. Beacon, overlooking the Hudson River, in 2009.
